So I bought this $700 couch and it made me feel very grown up to spend so much money on one thing. The delivery men cam in this huge unmarked truck and wore windbreakers and track pants and generally looked very not-Sears Home Delivery.
The highlight of my day, this conversation:
Couch moving man who is apparently from the Caribbean area, looking at my picture of me and Jason in a canoe: "Is that the Caribbean?"
Me: "Umm, no, it's a lake."
I told this story to Kris over the phone today who made fun of me for sounding sick because I am. She didn't think it was very funny. Yeah, well you aren't very funny either.
Actually you are.
