We're two sides of the same page.
Pictures from NXNE on Thursday. Maybe if it was a little less hot and a little less humid I would write something about it. But it is not. (It is obvious however, that I lack the ability to resize all my pictures the same size)
Luke Doucet: I was strangely disappointed that Melissa McClelland was not with him.
(we saw Elliot Brood before this but I didn't take pictures because I didn't know he was good)
Christine Fellows (w/ two out of four Weakerthans): there is a lack of pictures including her since she is John K Samson's wife and that eliminates all possibility of my marriage to him. Thus, I am jealous.
Craig Cardiff: he played Judy Garland slow so people could slow dance to it.
Shout Out Out Out Out: Nik from Veal's dance band. "This song is a sad dance song. Perhaps you would like to shed a single tear."
Also, we had grilled cheese made by the Six Shooter people during this set because weird things like that just happen at NXNE.
Veal: (minus strange drummer with only a first name) playing a surprise show since the Horsehoe decided to stay open past 2am.
