When I get home, we'll take a trip or just sit and do nothing. Rent a movie or something.

I haven't updated in a really long time. I have noticed. So in recap, here's sort of what happened in the last little while in a list form.

1. First there was Thanksgiving. My parents decided to come to me and Kris and bring along my mom's cousin/my godfather and his wife. We didn't have a turkey dinner because cooking in this apartment would, I imagine, be something like cooking in a very small hell. Actually no. I love this apartment. So it would be like cooking in a small anything else other than hell. I was also thinking about giving up Thanksgiving altogether, considering that I am half Mohawk and would just be celebrating "the white man's rape of my people" (to indirectly quote John Redcorn). Which is why, when I asked my mom to buy us a pumpkin pie at least, she half-refused saying "you can't have pumpkin pie if you're not celebrating Thanksgiving."

So that was that. And instead Jason and I are going to celebrate a late fake Thanksgiving. It may possibly be on American Thanksgiving since we are both pseudo-American. Well, he's real American but actually Korean and I am native and used to live in New Hampshire which makes me somewhat attatched to Americanism (yes, I make up my own words). So I don't know how we will celebrate but it will probably involve swingsets and movie wathcing and according to him, ice skating.

2. This last week was my "crazy week." The one week of school in the entire first term that everything was due. Nothing major excet for a 50% Biochem test that I have to do well on. I had nothing before and I won't have anything until December exams. It's so nice that it's over but a little on the stressful side during.

3. Yesterday I celebrated the end of my crazy week by shopping at Walmart with Jason (which, he would like to be mentioned, he does not normally enjoy doing). If that does not accurately portray the state of our society, I don't know what will. I hate Walmart in theory but love it in practice. It is wrong, I know, but I need their low low prices. Anyway, point of this story being that when we were walking home I got stung by a bee. A bee! It's Canada. It's almost winter. I get stung by a bee. This is what I get for shopping at Walmart.

4. Next week, Becky has her reading week (aka keep-people-from-committing-suicide week) and is coming to visit. We're going see Danny Michel/Lindy and doing touristy things. I can't wait. It will be like Up North all over again except there won't be a lake or row boats and we're not in Quebec.

5. Tomorrow I am going to post a picture which will exemplify just how much I jove John K. Samson. I hope you are all waiting in anticipation.
