I just realized that I have like six gmail invites left. Mainly because I didn't know I had any in the first place. So if anyone wants one just let me know.
On Friday, Kris and I went to see Snow Patrol. They're a good band and the guitar player is just about as hot as you can get but I think seeing them once was enough for me. We just saw them at the end of school. Right after The Frames and Damien Rice. It was like a big Irish family reunion in Toronto.
Eisley opened for Snow Patrol. I thought they were really good on the basis that there aren't many bands who have really young girls in them that aren't manufactured or play annoying music. They found Toronto to be really pretentious and unenthusiastic about their music which Toronto is no matter what band is playing. They've toured with Coldplay and Ron Sexsmith which is really impressive in itself but on top of that, they've toured with Brand New. Brand New! I can't see how Toronto audiences could have been any more unenthusiastic than Brand New fans. Because when you're at a show to see Brand New and then have to watch a mostly girl band playing whimsical, dreamy rock, I would imagine that most people would not be happy.
Does anyone know how to do that thing where you have a series of images and a different one loads every time you open the page?
