I have been listening to far too many live/rare versions of Weakerthans songs as of late. They have started to blur into the same song.
I just found out that the Hayden/Great Lake Swimmers show a month ago featured Cuff The Duke as Hayden's backing band. This needs no further comment. I wish I had had $37 to see all of those fabulous people (that was a rough estimate. I don't know how much it actually was except that it was expensive). They should have just played at the Shoe and everything would have been fine and they would have sold more than five rows of tickets (again, just an estimate but according to Ticketmaster they didn't sell alot). That would have been an amazingly excellent show.
Things I can't wait for:
- The Weakerthans show on Friday
- going to my camp "up north" after summer school ends and normal school begins to tan and eat blueberry pancakes
